DruaplCamp PDX is an entirely volunteer-run Unconference put on by the Portland Drupal User Group to gather together the Drupal community for a weekend of learning, teaching, and sharing knowledge, ideas, and skills with the lowest financial barrier possible- free.
Sponsors provide the support necessary to make DruaplCamp PDX possible.
- Who can sponsor? Anyone!
- What would that involve, exactly? Well, there are two ways an individual or organization could sponsor:
- - In-kind donation of goods or services needed to run the camp, or
- - Financial sponsorship.
- How can I sponsor? You can donate financially to DrupalCamp PDX via PayPal or check, or if you are interested in sponsorship of goods or services, please contact one of our organizers.
- Where do I go to sponsor? Sign up on this site as a sponsor! You will be able to donate directly to the camp via PayPal, or if you’d like to write a check or donate goods or services, one of our organizers will contact you to coordinate.
- When should I sponsor? DrupalCamp PDX will take place the weekend of October 9-11 2009, so we’re busy getting things in place right now.
- Why do you need sponsors? Even though the event is put on and run entirely by volunteers and participants, there are still monetary expenses that are necessary to coordinate the logistics of gathering up to 150 people to geek out on Drupal for a weekend. In addition to event insurance, equipment rental, and infrastructure support (like wifi), there are many small expenses we need to budget for to ensure the weekend runs smoothly.

We are thankful and appreciative of our sponsors and their investment in our community. We acknowledge our sponsors with recognition on our camp website, and will have a sponsorship table at the event which sponsors can use for materials should they choose.
